Following the acquisition of formerly Basingstoke-based Southern Allmetal Fabrication Ltd (SAF) by CTL Components Group plc, the final part of the company’s consolidation into the CTL Components Group has now been completed.
The entire operation - people, plant and systems - has been relocated to Alton where it now resides alongside another CTL division - Hampshire Metal Finishers (HMF).
Between them, SAF and HMF can now offer customers a complete service of fabricated metalwork, finished either with wet painting or powder coating.
The new operation is being managed as a satellite of Wimbledon-based CTL Metalwork plc, which specialises in finer-tolerance sheet metalwork.
