The production and application of overlays is another CTL speciality. Overlays are flat or curved panels with graphics reverse-printed on to a clear polycarbonate sheet, which is then bonded to an exactly matching metal base. The result is an attractive and extremely durable front panel on which even intricate multi-coloured graphics will retain their clarity and sharpness in harsh industrial environments.
Display windows can be incorporated and profiling for exotic shapes as well as specialist adhesives are all available to suit a huge range of panel and signage applications.
CTL Metalwork’s Printing Division has the capability to produce profiled labels that are surface or reverse-printed onto a wide variety of adhesive-backed media. Serial number printing is a further capability.
